Yamaha SZ 150 to be launched in India on 5th August

Yamaha India, a leading bike maker in the Indian market, is all set to launch its much awaited Yamaha SZ 150 in the Indian market on 5th of August. The Yamaha SZ model was showcased at the Delhi International Auto Expo in January where it attracted a large number of automobile enthusiasts and visitors. Recently a section of media had reported that the Yamaha FZ model is currently being tested by the ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) in Pune.

The new bike Yamaha SZ is believed to be fitted with a 150cc Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine and will compete with likes of Bajaj Pulsar 150, Bajaj Discover 150 and Honda Unicorn in this price segment. The new Yamaha warrior will be blessed with all new generation features such as self start, bigger wheelbase, alloy wheels and sporty graphics. The engine of Yamaha SZ will be producing a maximum power of 11 BHP along with a peak torque of 10.4 NM. It will be available with both self/kick start options.  

The prospective bike is expected to be priced competitively in the range of sub Rs 55,000, as company plans to capitalize on the rising demand for bikes of this market. However, the company is yet to disclose the pricing and specifications of this bike in the Indian market.
