Yamaha SZ series to get Blue Core Technology

During the launch of advanced Blue Core technology with the fuel injected FZ series Version 2.0, Yamaha Motor India also announced to update other models in the existing line-up with it. After that the company upgraded its sport tourer- Fazer with the new technology and now, the latest reports are saying that the next in theis the entry level 150cc- SZ-RR. However, we belive tht the company will update both the bikes in SZ series including SZ-S with the Blue Core Technology.

As per claimed by MotorBeam, the new Yamaha SZ will retain the 153cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor along with the carburetor type fuel system. However, the Blue Core technology will help it to improve the fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. The existing engine churns out 12bhp of maximum power along with 12.8Nm of peak torque, and the figures are expectd to remain similar in the new model as well.

Yamaha's Blue Core technology is a new generation engine development technique, which combines improved combustion cahmber design, lighter moving parts, roller rocker arm, optimized crank inertia, advanced electric charging system and improved intake port. The new technology results in optimum combustion, power loss reduction along with precise control of fuel supply, thus you get optimum performance and better fuel economy.

Yamaha will also introduce new colour schemes for the SZ series including a Green-Black dual tone option and the bikes are expected to be launched soon during the festive season.
