Yamaha to bring Yamaha YBR and Yamaha SZ in India soon

Japan based leading bike manufacturer Yamaha wants to capture 10% market share in the coming years by launching new and attractive bikes in India. The Yamaha bikes are already very popular among the youth and company is trying hard to maintain this success by producing performance oriented powerful bikes like the FZ series and R15. Company is all set to launch new bikes in India so that it can keep up its pace with other major bike manufacturers bike Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto. Among the upcoming bikes of the Yamaha the most awaited is the Yamaha YBR, which is loosely based on the Alba. Though there is no official conformation from the Company's side but it is expected that it will be launched with an engine of 106cc mill, used in the bikes like Alba and Crux with a slightly different tuning. The bike is expected to provide fuel economy of around 65-70 kmpl. It is expected that the company will launch this bike with a price tag of Rs 45,000 approx. By launching this bike the company is planning to strengthen its position in rural areas as well as in segment of entry level bikes. Along with the Yamaha YBR one more bike named as Yamaha SZ, is expected to hit the Indian Market. The bike will be launched to provide performance as well as comfort. The model will possibly be launched with a 123.7cc engine same as in the Yamaha Gladiator series. By rolling out this bike in India the company is planning to capture buyers who are looking for more out of their commuter bikes. The new Yamaha SZ is coming with a great combination of power, comfort and styling. Besides this the bike is coming with a nice and beefy front fairing, sporty rear styling with a bold exhaust and racy paint/graphics. The Fuel economy of the model will possibly be in range of 65 kmpl and it will possibly be priced in the range of Rs 50,000 to 55,000.
