Yamaha to double export from India

Yamaha India aims to double the export target by the year 2010. The company also looking forward to increase domestic sell along with launching new bike models. In fact, it launched Yamaha VMAX and limited edition of Yamaha Fazer, Yamaha FZ16 and FZS in India. Recently in a function India Yamaha MD and Chief executive officer Yukimine Tsuji told that this year company might export 70K units of bikes and will double it by the year 2010. In addition to that the company also said that it intends to touch a 10 per cent market share in the two-wheeler segment in India. To achieve this goal the company has to sell around 10 million units by 2012.
