Yamaha YZF-R25 on sale in Indonesia

Yamaha YZF-R25 finally gets in production and is now on sale in Indonesia. Yamaha has planned for a 12,000 units sale a year from the time of its release. Along with Indonesia, the new model is developed to cater the ASEAN countries and many other concerned developed markets. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) has launched the bike at a price of 53 million Indonesian Rupiah that is around INR 2.69 lakh. India is expected to see this machine soon as India is one of the best place to sell in volumes. The estimated launch of the machine in India is before 2016.

Yamaha YZF-R25 becomes the most powerful machine in its segment as it holds a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, in-line two-cylinder engine that displaces 249cc. The engine is mated with the return type 6-speed constant mesh. The maker has configured to churn out the maximum power of 36PS at an acceleration rate of 12000rpm with the peak torque of 22.6Nm at 10000rpm. It makes it the most powerful 250cc bike and the difference in power is pretty much compared to the second best in this segment.

Yamaha YZF-R25 boasts the new and advanced engine that incorporates Die casting Aluminum-silicon cylinders, which lightens the weight and improves heat dissipation. The fuel injected engine is designed using latest analysis technology that betters the mechanism in the combustion chamber, while optimizing the air-fuel mixture of engine. Mass centralization is achieved by using a lightweight frame that ensures better handling with the help of telescopic forks at the front and mono-cross suspension at the rear. The other features of the bike that can captivate are dual predator head light, mid ship sporty muffler, aluminum cast wide wheel and tire, super sport split seat, hydraulic disc brakes at both the ends, smart LED tail light and digital plus analog instrument cluster.
