2016 Auto Expo: Piaggio To Introduce a New Machine

The Italian company, Piaggio is eyeing to make its presence stronger in India. Like the other two-wheeler manufacturer, Piaggio is also all coming to the 2016 Auto Expo with some surprises. The company is all set to win the hearts of the Indian consumers, as it could bring its three-wheeled scooter to the Expo. Named as MP3, the scooter is industry’s first of its kind model and would be a rousing curiosity among the auto enthusiast at the expo. We believe that the main focus to bring such type of scooter in India by the Italian company is to give a tough competition Peugeot scooter, as Mahindra is planning to bring this scooter in the country.

Piaggio is a part of the biggest European manufacturer group of two-wheeled motor machines that is Piaggio Group, which also owns Aprilia, Vespa, Derbi, Gilera, Scarabeo and Moto Guzzi. As per our expectations, Piaggio could bring some action at the Auto Expo with its wide range of products. The company provides modern mobility solutions along with artistic and unique style.

We had reported regarding the similar concept, which is being used by Yamaha. The Japanese bike maker, Yamaha could showcase the production ready version of MWT-9 at the biennial event, which is also a three-wheeled concept. It is expected to be available for sale in India next year. It is powered by an 847cc engine that develops an 115bhp of power.
