2016 Auto Expo: Suzuki RMZ 250 Unveiled

The 2016 model of Suzuki RMZ 250 motocross bike has been introduced at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Japanese bike maker also showcased its mini dirt motorcycle Suzuki DR-Z70 along with many updated models of its existing line-up. The all-new RMZ 250 became the center of attraction for those who are in love with motocross championship and also for those who had dreamt of riding such kind of machine. It is speculated that the company might launch this bike in India later this year.
2016 Suzuki RM-Z250 has been equipped with the KYB rear shock, KYB PSF2 fork, Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC). Besides this, it is also fitted with the all-new 249cc engine that consists of approximately 80 tweaked internal part for a better refinement. The motocross bike is propelled by a single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC engine along with Suzuki Fuel Injection (SFI) that is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.
The motocross dirt bike is fitted with just 6.5 liters fuel tank and has a total kerb weight of 106 Kgs. It has a wheelbase of 1475 mm, minimum ground clearance of 345 mm and seat height of 955 mm. The dirt bike runs on tube tyres of 80/100-21 51M at the front and 110/90-19 62M at the rear and has been equipped with single rotor disc brake at both ends. For suspension duties, it has been loaded with inverted telescopic fork with air spring and oil damper at the front and a link type with coil spring and oil damper at the rear.
