2016 IBW Bike Build-Off Finals to be Held In Goa

India Bike Week has turned into the largest event in the country for bikers and motorcyclists. To be held on 19th-20th February 2016 this event brings the motorcyclists of multiple brands and kinds together for a great bike festival. The festival is going to host a large number of bike related activities, Biker Build Off is one of them.
The Biker Build Off is a motorcycle customization event, which is held every year as a part of IBW. In the competition, the shortlisted bikers have to design and manufacture their concept bike and it will be showcased at the IBW festival. The winner will be selected by the panel of judges on the basis of designing, styling and genuineness of the concept,
The planning for IBW Biker Build Off commenced in the month of November with 16 entries. The participants submitted the complete bike sketches and 3d renderings or AutoCad blueprint along with a full review about two-wheeled machines. Based on designs and sketches, the judging board has shortlisted five entries, who now need to be transformed into physical models and are to be brought to Goa where the winner will be selected by the judges. Here are the names of the five finalists of IBW Bike Build-Off:
1. Holkar Industries – Aurangabad (Chetan Holkar)
2. Legacy Customs – Belgaum (Faizan Saith)
3. Inline 3 – Chandigarh (Aseem Singh Pawar)
4. Dochaki Designs – Pune (Anupam Parihar)
5. R&G Customs – Mumbai (Raju and Ganesh Kotain)
Once all the five shortlisted bikes are at Goa, the Judging panel will assess the motorcycles for modification, styling, innovation and specialized sound along with the authenticity of the machine in the practical world and performance level.

The judging board for the IBW Bike Build Off final is consists of Arjun Raina, a well-known custom motorcycle manufacturer from Dehradun, Anthony Ollukaran, one of the most distinguished bike tuners from Mumbai, Reza Hussain – winner of IBW Biker Build Off 2015, and Kartikeya Singhee of Autocar India. Besides this there will be two more judges and their details will be revealed at the final itself.
