With less than a month left for Asia’s biggest automotive carnival to woo the auto enthusiasts, we are receiving many updates and speculations of products set to be showcased at the show. Even the manufacturers are giving a final touch to their plans in order to make the show “bigger and better” than before. Mahindra will be bringing in a bunch of products, out of which one is the updated model of Moto3 racer motorcycle.

Mahindra Moto3 or MGP30 is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, twin fuel-injected engine that makes it hit a whopping top speed of 235kmph. Built on an aluminium perimeter frame, the machine has been equipped with Ohlins TTX upside down forks up front and Ohlins TTX monoshock at the rear. For braking, the bike has been fitted with Brembo double disc at the front along with a Brembo single disc brake at the rear. MGP30 has a total weight of 78kgs and has been fitted with a 10-litre fuel tank.

Mahindra Moto3 racer was also showcased in the previous edition of Auto Expo and would now come as a new and improved model. The bike has been developed by Mahindra racing at its European factory in North Italy and almost 90 percent different from its earlier version. In 2015, the company had delivered bikes to nine riders and four teams being a Moto3 constructor. There are some speculations regarding Peugeot’s entry into Moto3 and if these are to be believed, the company would be using Mahindra Racing motorcycles for the Saxoprint Racing Team in Germany. This would eventually help Mahindra Racing become more stable in position. Stay tuned for more updates on the coming motor show!
