The 2019 iteration is the first BS6-compliant two-wheeler from Honda
- Honda unveiled the scooter back in June.

Honda is all set to launch the BS6-compliant Activa 125 in India on September 11. The Japanese bike maker has already showcased the 2019 iteration a few months back. As far as its price is concerned, we expect it could command a premium of around Rs 5,000 over the current model, which starts at Rs 60,347 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Recently, we got our hands on leaked documents, which revealed some interesting technical specifications of the 2019 iteration of the Activa 125. Powering the scooter is a 124cc single-cylinder engine which is BS6-compliant and makes 8.29PS of power at 6,500rpm, which is 0.34PS less than the current-gen model.
In terms of dimensions, the 2019 Activa 125 is 36mm longer, 3mm wider and 19mm taller than the current-gen scooter. As per the document, the scooter will come in three variants: front disc with alloy wheels, drum brakes with alloy wheels, and drum brakes with sheet metal wheels. Moreover, the Japanese bike maker has also revealed that all its BS6 two-wheelers will be equipped with fuel injection. Additionally, the manufacturer has also said that some models will not be upgraded to BS6 and thus, could be discontinued soon.
