Customers can get a discount of up to Rs 35,000!
Kawasaki India has announced new discounts on their Ninja lineup, and now customers can save up to Rs 35,000 when purchasing a Kawasaki bike. The discounts are applicable on 3 models, the Kawasaki Ninja 300, the Kawasaki Ninja 500 and the Kawasaki Ninja 650. Here’s everything you need to know.
The Kawasaki discounts offered currently are part of the brand’s year end sale, done to clear stocks before the new year. The discounts are offered in the form of vouchers which the customers can redeem against the bike’s ex-showroom price. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the ex-showroom prices of the 3 bikes and the discounts offered.
Model |
Ex-showroom Price |
Discounts Offered |
Ex-showroom Price After Discount |
Kawasaki Ninja 300 |
Rs 3,43,000 |
Rs 15,000 |
Rs 3,28,000 |
Kawasaki Ninja 500 |
Rs 5,24,000 |
Rs 10,000 |
Rs 5,14,000 |
Kawasaki Ninja 650 |
Rs 7,16,000 |
Rs 35,000 |
Rs 6,81,000 |
With these discounts, the ex-showroom prices of the 3 bikes have gone down only slightly and does not make much of a difference. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 still is quite expensive when compared to its closest competitor, the TVS Apache RR 310, which is priced from Rs 2,75,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Another major advantage the TVS Apache RR 310 has is the amount more premium underpinnings, like the gold-finished inverted fork. The bike also has a lot more features on offer, like the modern TFT console with smartphone connectivity. The Ninja 300 on the other hand has been around for many years and hasn’t seen any updates, making it feel outdated in the current market.
The Ninja 500 is a bike we really enjoyed riding, but the pricing is a bit too high when compared to its competitors. The Aprilia RS 457, the Kawasaki Ninja 500’s main competitor, comes at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4,10,000. This makes it Rs 1,04,000 cheaper than the Ninja 500, while offering a similar level of performance and more features.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 with the discount of Rs 35,000 is now a lot more affordable than its rival, the Triumph Daytona 660 which comes at a price of Rs 9,72,450 (ex-showroom).
