...and they look exhilarating!
After revamping almost its entire motorcycle lineup, Aprilia has now put its 125s, the RS125 and the Tuono 125, under the knife. The 2021 models of these bikes were showcased in Italy and they’ve improved in almost all aspects.
First things first, the bikes have received a facelift for 2021, probably to keep them well slotted in the Aprilia family. The 125 duo now features a full-LED headlamp that looks similar to the updated 2021 Tuono V4 and the RSV4, missing out on the signature LED DRLs that would’ve made the package even better looking. The headlamp has an uncanny resemblance to the Aprilia SXR 125 scooter that was launched in India a few days back.
They get a few other updates too. The new Aprilia 125s finally bid goodbye to their older semi-digital instrument cluster for a new fully digital LCD. Additionally, the bikes also get a wider rear tyre and an improved dual-channel ABS.

Both the Aprilia 125 bikes are still powered by the same 124cc single-cylinder motor, but they’ve been tweaked for Euro-5 compliance. They make the same power, at 15.2PS, which has been restricted thanks to Italy’s licence norms, but the torque has gone up. We’ll have to wait for the official brochures for exact numbers.
Given the absurd prices of the RS660 and Tuono 660 (find them here), the Aprilia 125s are unlikely to come to India. However, the Noale factory seems to be developing a 300-400cc bike, specifically for our market. Check out its details in our story!
