Following the launch of the Glamour Xtec, Hero MotoCorp has now launched the 2021 Maestro Edge 125 range in India. The scooter has received a ton of updates for 2021 which puts it on par with its competition.
For starters, the 2021 Hero Maestro Edge gets a revised front fascia. The design is a bit sharper than before and now even gets a segment-first LED projector headlamp. However, the apron-integrated turn-indicators still use halogen bulbs.

However, the most significant updates for the 2021 Maestro Edge 125 have been made on the feature front. Apart from the new headlight, the scooter now comes with a fully digital instrument console with the ‘Hero Connect’ feature as a standard fitment. You get topple alert, theft alert, find my parking, track my vehicle and trip analysis as well.
Moreover, the top-spec ‘Connected’ variant features Bluetooth connectivity too. It includes pairing with a passkey, turn-by-turn navigation, missed-call alert, incoming call alert and gives you a real-time mileage indicator as well.
It retains the BS6 compliant 124.6cc motor with the XSens tech and the same output figures -- 9.12PS and 10.14NM.
The underpinnings too remain unchanged. Hero offers the 2021 Maestro Edge 125 in three variants: drum, disc and connected. Pricing has been set to Rs 72,250 for the base variant while the disc and the connected variant retail at Rs 76,500 and Rs 79,750 respectively.
Its list of foes includes the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid, TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Access 125 as well as the Honda Activa 125.
