The updated bike will be hitting dealerships in the coming few days
To give a stealthier appeal to its naked 200cc bike, the NS200, Bajaj has updated it with blacked-out alloy wheels. This change takes place just two days after the Pulsar NS160 received the stealthy treatment.
Earlier, the black alloy wheels were only available on the Pewter Grey Variant, and all the other colour variants were stuck with the flashy white ones. The black alloys add to the naked bike’s sportier appeal, complementing the red colour.
Apart from the refreshed look, there are no mechanical changes on the bike and it is powered by the same 199.5cc, liquid-cooled engine, producing 24.5PS and 18.74Nm. It is mated to a six-speed transmission.

However, the Pulsar NS200 lacks in terms of features as compared to the competition; and with the updated model, Bajaj could have added modern-day essentials like smartphone connectivity and LED headlight to stay more relevant. It could have done with a little more of a styling and cosmetic updates as well.
The updated NS200 will be arriving at dealerships in the coming days and is priced at Rs 1,36,090 (ex-showroom Delhi), same as the previous model. It rivals the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Honda Hornet 2.0.
