Gets cosmetic updates and costs the same as its predecessor
After unveiling it overseas in December last year, KTM has now launched the latest iteration of 250 Adventure in India at Rs 2,35,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the same price as before. Here’s what it offers.
The 2022 KTM 250 Adventure has retained its rugged bodywork and other design elements. But it now comes in two new paint schemes: Electronic Orange and Factory Racing Blue. Apart from that, everything else remains as is.

It draws 30PS and 24Nm from its 248cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, the same as before. The features, too, remain unaltered – halogen headlight with LED DRL and an LCD instrument console. If you ask us, KTM should’ve thrown in the LED headlight, at least.
The 2022 KTM 250 Adventure is sprung on a 43mm USD fork and a 10-step preload-adjustable monoshock, both from WP Apex. The braking hardware has also been carried over from the previous model: 320mm front disc and 230mm rear, with dual-channel ABS. Apparently, KTM has made the five-spoke alloys a bit more robust than before.
All said and done, this isn’t really a significant update. The bike continues to rival the tad bit more affordable Royal Enfield Himalayan and Benelli TRK 251.
