Yamaha's touring-friendly quarter-litre bike gets two new colours
Yamaha has updated its FZS25 with two new paint schemes. The bike received a price hike at the beginning of this month, and as a result, the company has wisely chosen not to hike prices this time round. Before you head out to buy one, take a closer look at the touring-friendly quarter-litre bike in these detailed images.
The motorcycle looks sharp and muscular thanks to its rugged-looking body panels, tank extensions, aerodynamically shaped 14-litre fuel tank, and knuckle guards up front.
Talking about the update, as mentioned earlier, the bike has received two new colours: Matte Copper and Matte Black. The Matte Copper colour, complemented by subtle black graphics and golden alloy wheels, lends the motorcycle an attractive and eye-catching look. Meanwhile, the Matte Black paint scheme along with golden alloy wheels and graphics gives the bike a bold and aggressive stance.
On the features front, the bike gets a projector LED headlight with DRL, an LED taillight, side stand engine cutoff and an LCD instrument cluster that displays trip information, check engine indicator and real-time mileage.

The updated FZS25 is powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 20.8PS and 20.1Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The underpinnings of the bike have also stayed the same. The ride of the FZS25 is handled by a telescopic fork and a monoshock setup. For braking the bike employs a 282-/220mm disc brake setup which is further assisted by dual-channel ABS.
The FZS25 is priced at Rs 1,43,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), and competes with the Bajaj Dominar 250 in the Indian market.
