Here are all the features of the new Destini 125 that now make it better than before

Hero has launched the 2024 Destini 125 and it gets a lot of changes over its previous iteration. The feature list is also quite extensive in the 2024 version; let's take a look into it:

The 2024 Hero Destini 125 is available in three variants: VX, ZX and ZX+. The VX variant gets a semi-digital instrument console while the ZX and the ZX+ variants get an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The console also shows information such as speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, clock and other regular readouts. The scooter also gets an LED projector headlight, LED taillight and auto-cancelling turn indicators that switch off automatically after some time. The VX variant features regular cast alloy wheels, while the ZX and ZX+ variants get diamond-cut alloy wheels.

THe 2024 Hero Destini 125 also gets convenience features such as a USB charging port in the front glove box, luggage hooks on the front apron, boot lamp in the underseat storage space, pillion backrest in the ZX and ZX+ variants and an external fuel filler cap. The scooter also gets Hero’s i3S technology which is essentially a start-stop system that shuts off the engine after it idles for some time. This feature helps with improved mileage, especially at traffic signals. The Destini 125 also gets a back-lit engine start-stop switch, which adds a premium touch to the scooter.

The 2024 Hero Destini 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine which makes 9PS at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5500rpm. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The VX variant gets 130mm drum brakes at both ends while the ZX and ZX+ variants get a 190mm front disc brake and a 130mm drum at the rear. The Destini 125 now gets larger 12-inch wheels at both ends with a 90-section front and 100-section rear tyre. The scooter is available in five colour options: Eternal White, Regal Black, Mystique Magenta, Cosmic Blue, and Groovy Red. It goes against the likes of the Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Suzuki Access 125 and TVS Jupiter 125.
