Bajaj Auto has teased the 2025 Pulsar RS200 on its social media handle once again. The manufacturer has posted another Instagram reel which asks the users as to why they should update the RS200. This confirms that the upcoming motorcycle is the updated RS200.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 was launched in the year 2015. The RS in the name stands for “Racing Sport” while the 200 denotes the engine capacity of the motorcycle. The RS200 is the only fully-faired motorcycle from the manufacturer and shares its 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with the NS200. It produces 24.5PS at 9,750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8,000rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. For features, the RS200 comes with dual halogen headlights with LED DRLs and a semi-digital instrument cluster, which is a bit outdated though, and it lacks smartphone connectivity.
What Updates Do We Expect?
We expect the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 to make slightly more power than before, dual-LED headlights, a fully-digital instrument cluster which is compatible for Bluetooth connectivity and riding modes. Even though the RS200 is a solid performer for the manufacturer, an update has been long overdue for a motorcycle which has started to show its age.
Expected Price and Launch Date
We expect the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 to command a slight premium over the outgoing model which is currently priced at Rs 1,74,419 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is expected to launch in this month itself and will rival the likes of the Yamaha R15 and the Hero Karizma XMR.
