The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is set to receive its first major update, generating excitement for the 2025 model. Recent teasers from Bajaj on their social media pages reveal some new features and design changes, all while keeping the look that fans love.
Design
While the overall design of the Pulsar RS200 will largely stay the same, there will be some noticeable visual changes. The rear end of the bike is getting a redesign, moving away from the quad-shaped tail light to a new style that may be integrated into the seat area. Additionally, a new tyre hugger will be added to meet current laws.
Changes
One of the biggest updates is the new fully digital instrument cluster, which will replace the current semi-analogue setup. This updated cluster will include Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to access turn-by-turn navigation and receive notifications for calls and SMS. It will be the same as the one found on the Pulsar NS200.
Engine
The 199.5cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine is set to continue delivering similar performance, with output figures of 24.4PS and 18.7Nm, while also being updated to comply with the latest emission standards.
Launch & Pricing
The upgraded Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is expected to launch soon, most likely in a few days. A slight price increase of around Rs 5,000 is expected, which would raise the cost from the current Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Upon launch, it will rival bikes like the Yamaha R15 V4, the Suzuki Gixxer SF250, and the Hero Karizma XMR.
