Kawasaki has launched the 2025 W175 in Indonesia. The retro bike is available in four variants there, including SE, SE Black Style, Cafe and TR, each with a different colour scheme. However, the retro-roadster styling of the bike remains unchanged.
What’s New on the Kawasaki W175?
The base Kawasaki W175 SE variant is available in two colour options: Candy Arsenit Green and Metallic Smoke Gold/Ebony. Both colours come with a grey and black graphic on the fuel tank and a 'W175 SE' decal on the side panels. The bike also gets tank grips for added convenience. It comes with a flat single-piece seat.
The Kawasaki W175 SE Black Style comes in a single Metallic Spark Black colour, providing an all-black treatment to the bike, with three white stripes on the fuel tank and a W175 SE Black Style decal on the side panels. It also has tank grips and a flat single-piece seat.
The range-topping Kawasaki W175 Cafe variant gets two colour options to choose from, including Pearl Storm Gray and Pearl Crystal White. The Pearl Storm Gray features light grey and yellow graphics whereas the Pearl Crystal White has grey and black graphics. Additionally, the cafe variant comes with a small meter visor, a slightly scooped seat and a chrome exhaust heat shield. It has tank grips too.
The off-road-focused W175TR variant has also received a colour update in the form of a single ebony colour. It gets white and red graphics on the fuel tank and has red rear suspension springs. The bike gets a braced handlebar, a raised front fender and a bash plate.
What’s Unchanged?
The Kawasaki W175 continues to feature the same 177cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder carburetor engine (the Indian variant gets a fuel-injected engine). It produces 13PS at 7500rpm and 13.2Nm at 6000rpm, and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The hardware also remains unchanged, still sitting on a double cradle frame. The W175 gets a telescopic fork with 110mm suspension travel and preload-adjustable dual shock absorbers with 65mm suspension travel at the rear. Braking is handled by a 220mm front disc and a 110mm drum brake at the rear.
The W175 is equipped with 17-inch spoke wheels on both ends, fitted with 80-section front and 100-section rear tyres. It comes with a 785mm seat height, 126kg kerb weight, 165mm ground clearance and a 14-litre fuel tank.
BikeDekho Says
The Kawasaki W175 in India comes in two variants, Standard and Street, with prices starting at Rs 1,24,000 (ex-showroom). The colour options on the 2025 W175 look nice and premium. We hope Kawasaki brings the updated colour options to India soon.
