So, what do you get here? For starters, it looks mean and is a proper maxi-scooter, unlike anything on sale in India right now.
Besides being India’s most powerful scooter, the X-Town 300i is also the only scooter in India to come with dual-channel ABS as standard.
The X-Town 300i checks all the boxes of being a big, brawny maxi-scooter. It sports a purpose-built design, with a wide front apron, a really tall windshield...
And a comfortable looking seat, which could put any other scooter sold here to shame.
Not to mention, it also gets a generous 12.5-litre fuel tank for your touring needs. Speaking of which, its underseat storage is also big enough to accommodate most of your luggage, or two full-face helmets!
It also comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument console which displays information like odometer, fuel range indicator and more
Powering the scooter is a 276cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor, churning out a healthy 24.5PS and 25Nm, which should be more than enough to lug its 181kg (dry) weight.
The X-Town 300i packs premium components, not seen commonly on scooters in India. This includes big 37mm conventional fork at the front and twin shocks at the rear. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes (260mm front, 240mm rear) at either end. It rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels.
The X-Town 300i currently faces no competition in terms of displacement and pricing. And yes, we for one, can’t wait to ride it!
