Flagged off on 4th July, the rally features 25 women riders who will be riding the TVS Ronin and Apache RTR 200 4V in Ladakh for over 2,000kms in 12 days

On the occasion of the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, TVS has collaborated with the Indian Army to organise an all-women bike rally in Ladakh as a tribute to the Kargil war heroes. Flagged off by Hon’ble Lieutenant General of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) B D Mishra, on July 4, the rally will cover a total distance of over 2,000km in 12 days. The TVS all-women bike rally will cross two of the world’s highest motorable passes, Khardung La and Umling La, before concluding at the Kargil War Memorial.
The rally features 25 women riders who will be riding the TVS Ronin and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V around the challenging routes of Ladakh. These riders include women from the armed forces, military spouses and enthusiasts who have voluntarily participated in the ride. This initiative from TVS not only aims at honouring the spirit of Kargil Vijay Diwas but also focuses on India’s 'Unity in Cultural and Ethnic Diversity’ as well.
TVS Ronin: Starts At Rs 1,49,200 (ex-showroom)
The TVS Ronin is a neo-retro motorcycle that doesn't fit into one specific category. It combines the design language and riding characteristics of both cruisers and roadsters. The bike features a round LED headlight along with a bulky fuel tank and side panels, providing it with a muscular look.
Powered by a 225.9cc, air-/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 20.4PS and 19.93Nm, the TVS Ronin has sufficient low-end power, allowing you to ride it comfortably in the city, even in higher gears at lower speeds. However, the engine feels a bit stressed and vibrations creep in when pushed hard on the highways. Though, It offers a relaxed riding posture, the TVS Ronin handles well around corners.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V: Rs 1,47,820 (ex-showroom)
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes with a sporty design, premium features, and powerful performance. With its sharp headlight and sleek body panels, the naked bike looks aggressive and features race-inspired graphics.
The Apache RTR 200 4V is equipped with a 197.75cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It delivers 20.82PS and 17.25Nm in Sport mode whereas in Urban and Rain modes, it makes 17.32PS and 16.51Nm. The engine has good low-end as well as an impressive top-end performance.
