Italian automaker, Benelli is all set to launch its most affordable motorcycle, TNT 25 in the Indian market tomorrow. This will be the company’s sixth offering after - TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and TNT R. The bike will come to India via CKD route and will be assembled at the company’s Maharashtra facility. BikeDekho was the first one to confirm the launch of Benelli TNT 25. We have compiled all the information you should know about the DSK-Benelli TNT 25.
1. Design and Appearance
Built on a trellis frame, Benelli TNT 25 has drawn its visual appeal from its elder siblings. It features exposed body frame, minimal bodywork, sculpted fuel tank, digi-analog instrumental console, split seat, sporty muffler, 10-spoke 17-inch alloys and red coloured steel frame.
2. Engine and Specification

It houses 249cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that has the ability to produce maximum power of 24.14bhp at 9,000rpm and the highest torque of 21Nm at 7,000rpm. The freshly designed engine of TNT 25 is mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox along with Electronic Fuel Injection that helps it to reach the top speed of 145 kmph.
3. Dimensions of Motorcycle:
The upcoming Benelli TNT 25 is measured 2080mm in length, 1090mm in height and 805mm of width along with the ground clearance of 130mm. The total kerb weight of the motorcycle is 150kg while the wheelbase is 1385mm.
4. First Single-Cylinder Motorcycle by Benelli
Being the smallest displacement and most affordable motorcycle from the company’s Indian lineup, Benelli TNT25 is a first single-cylinder motorcycle in the company’s portfolio. Rest of its motorcycles are offered with inline 2 cylinder engine.
5. Competition
Benelli has been trying hard to increase its market presence in the Indian automobile industry, hence the company has brought its smallest displacement motorcycle. With the launch of TNT 25, Benelli will rival with Mahindra Mojo 300 and KTM Duke 390 and you can read the comparison here.
6. Safety and Comfort:
Italian manufacturer has not ignored the safety and comfort of the users and added many features to it. For the comfort of the rider, the company has offered it with inverted telescopic forks at the front and mono shock absorber at the rear, while on a safety perspective, it has 280mm disc up front and 240mm disc at the rear end. Both front and rear wheels gets single-disc brakes.
7. Pricing:
It will be brought to India via CKD route (Completely Knocked Down) and will be assembled in the DSK-Motowheels Maharashtra facility. Considering the features it offers, Benelli TNT 25 is expected to be priced somewhere close to 2-2.25 lac and at this price point, it will face the tough competition with Duke 390 and Mahindra Mojo.
