Overall design and engine remains the same
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 Pulsar RS200, introducing its first major design update since its original launch 10 years ago, back in 2015. The updated bike has created interest among the Pulsar fans, as this is the only fully-faired sports bike from the brand. With this new update, it still maintains its iconic look while offering a small design refresh and a few feature updates.
Design Changes
While the overall design of the Pulsar RS200 stays largely the same, there have been some minor updates to its looks. The rear end gets a new separated tail-light integrated with the indicators. It replaces the previous kite-like shaped unit. Additionally, the rear tyre hugger has also been updated. It gets 3 new colour options: Glossy Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White, and Active Satin Black.
Feature Updates
The biggest change for the 2025 Pulsar RS200 is the upgraded instrument cluster. The bike now comes with a fully digital display, replacing the old semi-analogue setup. The new cluster includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing features like turn-by-turn navigation and call, SMS notifications. The digital cluster is the same as the one seen on the Pulsar NS400Z. It also now gets 3 ride modes: Road, Rain, and Offroad.
Engine
The engine remains the same as before: a 199.5cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit, producing 24.5PS and 18.7Nm: it is shared with the Pulsar NS200. Although performance remains unchanged, the engine has been updated to meet the latest emission norms and now gets a slip-and-assist clutch.
Price & Rivals
The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been priced at Rs 1,84,115 lakh, getting a price increase of about Rs 10,000 over the older model. It rivals other bikes in the faired sport bike segment such as the Yamaha R15 V4, Suzuki Gixxer SF250, and the Hero Karizma XMR 210.
