All-new KTM RC 125 Launched In India

The most affordable faired bike from KTM costs Rs 1.47 lakh!

• Compared to the KTM 125 Duke, the RC 125 is Rs 17,000 more expensive.
• Gets projector headlamps, fully-faired bodywork and clip-on handlebars.
• Borrows engine and underpinnings from the KTM 125 Duke
• Bookings are open officially and deliveries will commence from the end of this month.

KTM India has launched its most affordable faired motorcycle, the RC 125. Priced at Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the RC 125 costs Rs 17,000 more than the most affordable KTM in India, the 125 Duke.

For the added premium, you get dual projector headlamps, clip-on handlebars and a fully-faired bodywork. The engine and the underpinnings, though, are borrowed from the KTM 125 Duke. The 124.7cc single-cylinder motor produces the same 14.5PS and 12Nm as the 125 Duke. A single-channel ABS is also offered as standard. KTM says the RC 125’s price is introductory, so expect the Austrian brand to hike it eventually as it did with the 125 Duke. 

Bookings for the baby RC are officially open and deliveries will commence from the end of this month. In our market, the KTM RC 125 goes up against the Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 3.0, which is a whole Rs 8000 more affordable and features a bigger, more advanced motor making 4.8PS and 2.7Nm more than the RC 125.
