Aprilia RSV4 Factory for preview tomorrow

Finally! the iconic superbikes from Aprilia will be showcased for media persons at 2011 Mumbai International Motor Show. At the show, Aprilia RSV4 Factory would be given prominence and it will be unveiled by Mr. Ravi Chopra, Chairman & Managing Director of Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited. It is to be noted that Piaggio had took over Aprilia long back.

Aprilia bikes in India were come here in December last year, but the company chose to display it's bike in the upcoming Motor Show that is to be held from 20th to 23rd January, 2011. Apart from Aprilia RSV4 Factory, the company will also launch it's sibling Aprilia RSV4 R in India. The RSV4 Factory is supposed to be priced at Rs 18 lakh in India.

The Aprilia RSV4 R is loaded with Single cylinder, 4 stroke,  998.20 cc (60.91 cubic inches) engine. The engine has been furnished with 78.0 mm Cylinder Bore and 52.3 mm Stoke. The 6 Speed Chain Transmission present in the bike assures the rider with easy shifting of gears as and when required. The engine is to offer eloquent power of 131.4 kW at 12500 rpm and a beating torque of 115 Nm at 10000 rpm via 6 speed gearbox.

The Aprilia RSV4 Factory comes equipped with v-4 cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooling system, double overhead camshafts (DOHC) powerplant with a displacement of 999.6cc. This powerhouse of the bike produces top power of 132.4 kw at 12500 rpm and returns highest torque of 115 Nm at 10,000 rpm via 6 speed manual transmission.
