Aprilia to Launch Its Motard 125 at 2016 Auto Expo

Two-wheeler market to get another surprise at the 2016 Auto Expo starting in a few days. As reported by Zigwheels, the Italian manufacturer Aprilia has plans to launch its Motard 125 scooter at the event. This would be second scooter offered by the manufacturer for Indian market. The Aprilia Motard 125 will be manufactured at Piaggio’s facility in Baramati and would be placed alongside the company’s Vespa range. The Vespa range is also manufactured in India and is exported globally.
In terms of styling, the Aprilia Motard 125 is sharp in visuals and has a sporty styling, which can be a hit among younger fans. As per the picture displayed, the turn indicators are fitted on handlebars and the headlight is given on the front apron. The features that make it look different from its rivals are the 14’’ diameter wheels and the thorny look.
The Aprilia Motard 125 will come powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that generates a power of 9.86bhp and a peak torque of 10.6Nm. With a simple instrument console, the scooter will have a twin pod analogue speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer with several light indicators.
