It is developed under CFMoto’s new sub-brand Zeeho and is likely to be launched in India next year
Remember the wild “Cyber” concept CFMoto showcased under its new sub-brand Zeeho last year? Well, the electric scooter is inching closer towards production and a new type-approval document reveals a lot about it. And we have every reason to be excited about it. Why? Because in an exclusive interaction with us, CFMoto revealed that it has plans to bring electric scooters in India as early as later this year.
The patent image and a picture of what seems to be the production-spec version of the Zeeho Cyber highlight the changes made to the e-scooter. For starters, the single seat from the concept is replaced by a comfortable, longer seat that can accommodate two people. It carries over the flat footboard instead of the maxi-scooter styled one from the concept. Fortunately, the e-scooter hasn’t lost on its sinister styling in pursuit of practicality. It continues to have the same aggressive front-end with the massive fender that swallows the front brake caliper too. The Zeeho e-scooter even retains its “winglets” on the side panels.

Zeeho has not compromised much when it comes to performance either. The type-approval document reveals that the e-scooter produces a continuous power of 5kW, while the peak power is likely to be the same as the concept’s 10kW rating. However, the homologated top speed of 102kmph is slightly lower than the claimed 110kmph of the concept. The production-spec e-scooter will also get a belt final drive instead of the chain drive from the Cyber concept.
While the Zeeho electric scooter may not seem like an out-and-out performance machine, CFMoto has chosen to equip it with a Brembo brake up front. It comes with 100/80 and 120/70 tyres at the front and rear shod onto 12-inch wheels.
The Zeeho Cyber e-scooter may debut later this year in foreign markets, followed by the India launch early next. We expect the e-scooter to carry a price tag of Rs 1.5 lakh and will go up against the likes of the Ather 450X and the Simple Energy One.
