Ather Opens Snazzy New Dealership In Chennai

The dealership allows customers to book, test ride and learn more about the Ather 340 and Ather 450.

Ather Energy has announced the opening of its very first experience centre in Chennai via its social media handles. The ‘Ather Space,’ as the company calls it, is located near Wallace Garden, a prominent Chennai landmark.

The centre has been designed with user experience in mind, a place where customers can get a first-hand experience of Ather’s e-scooters. The Ather 340 is priced at Rs 1.19 lakh while the Ather 450 retails for Rs 1.31 lakh (both on-road). These e-scooters have been priced relatively higher than their Bengaluru counterparts thanks to the 4 per cent road tax levied by the government of Tamil Nadu. Despite the inflated prices the brand has received an overwhelming response from enthusiasts, with both the Ather e-scooters being spoken for till November 2019. 

The Ather Space centre revolves around the idea of offering a wholesome experience to customers, thus helping him/her make an informed decision. Ather’s e-scooters are usually booked online, so the experience centre would allow customers to see the Ather 340 and Ather 450 scooters in the flesh. They can test ride these scooters and learn more about them and the Ather Grid from the brand's product specialists. Oh, and you could also grab a cup of coffee while doing so.
