Automotive R&D MoU signed between India and Britain

Few days back, Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi and his British counterpart David Cameron pronounced that the two nations will equally unite in automotive research and development (R&D) and testing. Both the Prime Ministers conveyed their desire to boost innovation led the growth of the automotive sector in India, a joint statement said.

According to the statement, India and Britain will sign a MoU to share their expertise in automotive research and development (R&D), testing and administration of testing systems. On Thursday, Narendra Modi said to the British parliament while making a point to mention Indian conglomerate Tatas becoming the largest private sector employer in Britain, "It takes an Indian icon, Tata, to run a British icon and become your nation's largest private sector employer”.
