Bajaj Auto awarded ‘Outstanding Exporter of the Year'

Bajaj Auto- the makers of iconic Bajaj Pulsar, Bajaj Discover, Bajaj Boxer- has been felicitated with ‘Outstanding Exporter of the Year - Auto Manufacturers’ and ‘Overall Exporter of the year’ award while Bosch Ltd. has been felicitated with the ‘Outstanding Exporter of the Year - Auto Component’ at the fourth edition of the DHL and CNBC–TV18 ‘The International Trade Awards 2011’. The International Trade Awards aim at felicitating India’s trading community which has created significant value of its corporations by optimizing every opportunity and turning the nation’s dream into reality.

They aim at recognizing the innovations and excellence of the Indian importers and exporters at the International Trade facilitation in India. Shri. R.P.N Singh, Hon’. Minister of State for Corporate Affairs presided over the awards held in the city recently. Mr. Adi Godrej, Chairman, Godrej Group was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.

With the changing world economic scenario, the new world order is being heralded by the southern hemisphere rather than the northern hemisphere. With trade increasing significantly in the south, Asian economies are getting stronger and leading the world economic engine. There is a renewed sense of confidence with increasing opportunities and a competitive entrepreneurial outlook within the industry. Not just cross border trade but even cross border investment has increased. The goal is to increase the percentage of export from each country while encouraging healthy government industry relations.  Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anil Uniyal, CEO, CNBC-TV18 and CNBC AWAAZ said, “We are proud to partner with DHL for the fourth edition of International Trade Awards 2011.
