Bajaj Auto reported 78 pc sales growth in Feb 2010

Country's one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Automobiles has registered 78.03 per cent sales growth at 2,34,623 units in Feb, 2010. According to last year sales reports, the company had sold 1,31,785 motorcycles in the Indian auto market, said in statement. Two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles of the company has been sold 74.71 per cent which stood at 2,68,678 units in the last month as against 1,53,782 vehicles in the same period a year ago. The company has robust sales of its quality product like Bajaj Pulsar and Bajaj Discover range, it added. Bajaj Auto Limited has raised excellent sales growth in exports market with 53.03 per cent to 77,642 motorcycles in the last month. The company's exports sales were comparing from 50,738 units in February, 2009. Bajaj Auto's total two-wheeler posted a boost sales during the month by 77.28 per cent to 2,34,710 units, compared with 1,32,393 units in the same period of previous year.
