Bajaj auto sales grew by 26 percent in September

Bajaj Auto, India's leading two-wheeler producer, has registered 26 percent growth in sales during the month of September, 2010. The total two-wheeler has been sold 3,52,769 units in the last month as compared to 2,80,916 units in the same period of previous year. Sales of Motorcycles of the company increased by 26 percent to 3,14,515 units during the month under review over the year ago period. The export sales of Bajaj Auto grew by 26 percent to 1,01,960 units of two-wheelers in September 2010, compare with 80,681 units in September 2009.
The company's net profit has rose by 101.08 percent to Rs 590.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 from Rs 293.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30,2009. The total income increased by 68.16 percent to Rs. 3,971.30 crore for the quarter ended June in this current year as against to Rs 2,361.61 crore in the last year. The company's most selling motorcycle in the commuter segment, Bajaj Discover, has been sold a huge number of units during the last month in the Indian auto market. While, flagship model of Bajaj Auto, the all model of pulsar are giving their excellent contribution to make it more popular motorcycle brand in the auto market.
