The bike was spotted at Bajaj’s test track, hinting at an imminent launch
The Bajaj Dominar 400 has been steadily gaining popularity as a tourer, thanks to its relaxed ergos and potent, highway-worthy engine. To make it even more versatile for munching miles, riders have been installing aftermarket
parts. It seems like Bajaj has been taking notes, as the Bajaj Dominar 400 may soon have an official accessories catalog.
The bike spied sported a tall windscreen and knuckle guards only. While there’s no official word from Bajaj on this, the photo appears to be from the manufacturer’s test track in Chakan, confirming that these will be part of Bajaj’s accessory list.

Look closer and you’ll notice that the knuckle guards do not have a metal brace behind the plastic guards to save your hands and levers in the event of a crash. That said, the guards blend well with the rest of the bike. The windshield ,too, compliments the new guards and the headlight, and even has ducts to let some air through.
The market is filled with plenty of options for luggage, protection or aesthetic accessories. Having a similar catalogue straight from the manufacturer will give customers quality products. The Dominar already has bungee loops and we hope the brand even brings in panniers and other luggage options. We expect these accessories to be launched in the coming weeks and are likely to be priced under Rs 5,000.
