Bajaj Pulsar 250 and KTM Duke 200 to be launched this year

The most-awaited Bajaj Pulsar 250 and KTM Duke 200 will be launched by the end of year 2011. The company has already announced this big sibling of Bajaj Pulsar 220. Now the KTM Duke 125 is replaced with KTM Duke 200, according to a senior official of the company.
Honda CBR 250R has been confirmed for Indian market and the company is receiving order for the bike; the bike will be delivered to the registered customers in April. On the other hand, Indian semi-sports market is dominated by Pulsar. But now CBR 250R might overtake all the entry-level sports bike market hence Bajaj Pulsar 250 is possible.
Whereas Austrian bike maker KTM is going to launch KTM Duke 200; the bike is spotted in the Pune, recently. Earlier, the 125cc Duke was in rumours which was specially produced for European markets. This KTM Duke 125cc produces 15.3PS of power and 12Nm of torque and equipped with 17 inch fatter tyres while KTM Duke 200cc to generate maximum power of 22 bhp which market it excellent performer in the segment. The KTM Duke was spied along with Pulsar 135 LS and Yamaha FZ-S at Pune.
Now, it is official that Bajaj Pulsar 250cc and KTM Duke 220 are ready to foray in the market. Both the bikes will be major competitor of Honda CBR 250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250R. On the other hand Mahindra two wheeler, the new entrant in the bike segment, will also launch Mojo 300cc in this year and Suzuki GW250 is also in pipeline while Yamaha to bring Yamaha FZ 250cc, So the year 2011 will be exciting for the sports bike lovers because lots of big bikes are coming in the market.
