Bajaj Pulsar 300 might come soon

Bajaj Pulsar, the most popular and flagship bike model from Bajaj Auto, is reported to be introduced in India with a big powerplant, that will be Bajaj Pulsar 300 cc. Yes, Bajaj Pulsar 300 cc might be launched in Indian two wheeler market very soon. It is expected that the bike may come in the month of January or February, 2011.

Bajaj Pulsar series is the Bajaj Auto's most popular and largest bike models series that include Bajaj Pulsar 135, Bajaj Pulsar 150cc DTSi, Bajaj Pulsar 180cc DTSi,   and Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi. In this series, Bajaj Pulsar 200cc has been discontinued since the 200cc and Pulsar 180cc look very same with more or less same features. So the company preferred to continue with Pulsar 180 and discontinued the 200 cc.



The company has not announced yet about this 300cc Pulsar launch but a segment of media is speculating the big brother of Bajaj Pulsar range. It is expected that Bajaj Auto's partner Kawasaki is to help the former to develop this rumored bike. The bike might be a combined product of Bajaj And Kawasaki technology. If the bike launches, it will be very powerful and excellent performer which will than compete with TVS Apache, Yamaha Fazer (both expected) and Mahindra Mojo 300 cc.

There is not exact report about the features and specification of the Bajaj Pulsar 300 but as per media reports the bike might be loaded with single cylinder, DTS-Fi, 300cc engine. The bike might be offered with a mileage of around 20 to 25 kmpl on the road. This upcoming 300cc engine blessed bike to offer zipper acceleration and pick up which will be more than Bajaj Pulsar 220 that offers excellent acceleration. The bike can cross the 60kmph mark in just 3.7 seconds and it can touch the top speed mark of 118.7kmph, if reports are believed.



It is expected that the Bajaj Pulsar 300cc might be available in the large colour range as its other siblings. The bike is to be available in body colours of Plasma Blue, Cocktail Wine Red, Mid Night Black, and Misty Grey Silver. This most awaited upcoming variant of Bajaj Pulsar expected with price tag of Rs. 150,000 in Indian market.
