The images have given us a decent look at the upcoming bike
Bajaj has finally launched the Pulsar NS400Z in India at Rs 1,85,000 (ex-showroom). The biggest Pulsar shares the same 373cc engine as the Dominar 400 but is Rs 45,815 more affordable.
Images of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 have surfaced online, giving us the first look at the biggest Pulsar bike from Bajaj. Judging by the images we have been able to get a decent idea about the bike’s design and features. Here’s everything you need to know.
First thing that sticks out when looking at the images is the bike’s front section design. It features lightning bolt shaped DRLs and a projector headlight giving the bike an aggressive look overall. The bike features an inverted fork in a golden finish on the white colour scheme that we had previously seen and it makes the fork stand out quite a bit.
In terms of features, the bike appears to come with the same instrument console as the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the recently updated Pulsar N250. The console is a fully digital unit which along with regular readouts like speed, tachometer readings, time, fuel levels and odometer/tripmeter readings also includes other readouts like distance to empty and mileage.
The console has smartphone connectivity via the Bajaj ride connect app and brings features such as turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts as well. Bajaj will also provide an additional button on the left hand side switchgear to navigate the console.
Like the Bajaj Pulsar N250, we expect the Pulsar NS400 to come with multiple ABS modes and traction control. If we are lucky we might even get to see multiple riding modes.
Other design bits include a radiator shroud which means that the bike could come with a liquid-cooled engine. We expect it to be the same one as used on the Bajaj Dominar 400 which is a 373.3cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 40PS and 35Nm.
