The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is looking sportier with the new Red and White livery it has received for the Columbian market.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has received a new Red and White skin for the Columbian market. The bike now looks sportier, courtesy the dual-tone paint scheme. However, it might not hit the Indian market. Currently, it is available in India with two colour options -- Deamon Black and Yellow, both of which come with contrast graphics. The option of the Red colour (which was previously available) has been removed from the Pulsar RS200's official website.
Apart from a visual update, the Columbian-spec model features ABS as standard, although it is an optional extra in India. The bike sports a 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The fuel-injected motor churns out 25PS of power at 9,750rpm and delivers a peak torque of 18.6Nm at 8,000rpm.
Though not everyone like the Bumblebee styling of the Pulsar RS200, there is not any cosmetic update provided and Bajaj is just trying to give it a different taste with this new colour scheme. Prices for the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 starts at Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and its ABS trim requires an additional sum of Rs 12,000. Other key features include perimeter frame, beefy front forks, twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lamp, Nitrox monoshock at the rear and a sporty midship exhaust among others. It will rival the Yamaha YZF-R15, the Honda CBR250R and the KTM RC 200, courtesy its competitive price and features.
