Bajaj to expand its network to rural areas and small towns

Bajaj, ever trusted and the most famous company decides to open some more dealerships in the country so as to meet the demands appropriately. The company discloses to open these new dealerships in small towns and rural areas. The idea is also to support the growth of economy as it is to generate some around 7000 new jobs in the country. The company is the most liked with its models like Bajaj Pulsar and Bajaj Discover, which accounts to be one of the best selling bikes of the country.
As per the reports, it is enquired that 130 new dealerships and more than 1000 service centres are to opened so as to serve the customers with the company's products. The basic reason behind the new idea is to serve the Indian customers and to deduce the time of their wait. The dealership number is further to increase by the next season. The company to set up its showroom in these small towns require a total area of 1800 square feet and around 2200 square feet for the service centre. With this the most trusted Bajaj also promises to provide the local public with employment and better working conditions.

Sridhar said, "On the other hand 'Discover' which is a mass commuter has huge potential in smaller towns. While Discover's growth in terms of volumes and market share has been outstanding, the next big boost will come from increasing the share in these towns and in rural India which accounts for more than 50 per cent sales of this category".
