Bajaj to launch new Pulsars from March, new Avenger in June

The Home grown manufacturer Bajaj is all set to roll out new models in its popular Pulsar series. The new range of the sport bikes will include Supersport styled Pulsar 200SS and 400SS, adventure sport bike- Pulsar 200AS, 200NS based new Pulsar 150. All these motorcycles will be launched in India sequentially between March to June, 2015. The first bike to enter the market will be most probably the Pulsar 200SS and the 200AS model might follow it. The company is also planning to bring a new Avenger this year, which can break the covers by June.

In an interview, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto Limited told, "From next month onwards, which is from March onwards, up until June, in these 4 months, we will actually roll out products at the other end of the spectrum in the sport segment, which has you know is a segment dominated by Bajaj with about 45 percent market share. So, new Pulsars, possibly even a new Avenger."

The company has already unveiled its range of upcoming Pulsar motorcycles, however, there is no hint about the upcoming Avenger. It can be an all new motorcycle with one of their new motors and a revised platform, or it might be just a facelift of the existing product. Only time will tell us about this, but as per the current strategy of the company, we can expect a whole new cruiser under the Avenger nameplate.
