Bajaj V15 gets new colour option

The popular Bajaj V15 will now be offered in a new shade of Navy Blue

Bajaj Auto announced a new colour for its popular 150cc motorcycle –V15. The Bajaj V15 will now be offered in a new shade of Navy Blue. The other colour options for the premium commuter motorcycle included white, black and red. The Bajaj V15 has been a huge success for the Chakan based two-wheeler giant and it will be expecting the new shade to boost sales further during the upcoming festive season. Bajaj Auto will also kick-start a new advertising campaign that pride is restricted to select occasions of national significance like Independence Day or Republic Day. For this new advertising campaign the Bajaj V15 will be showcased in the new blue shade. The new colour option hasn’t increased the price of the motorcycle and it retails for 62,202 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Speaking about the campaign, Sumeet Narang, Vice-President, Marketing, Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto, says, “With the V, we are not just selling motorcycles but celebrating the pride of the nation. Consumers are also playing back this feeling of pride. The new campaign takes the proposition forward and talks about how the V helps you experience pride every day, and not just on select occasions of national significance.”

Apart from the new colour addition, the V15 doesn’t get any other updates. It is powered by a 150cc single cylinder air-cooled DTS-i engine that produces 12PS of power and 13Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13-litres and the claimed fuel efficiency for the V15 is 55kmpl in real world conditions.
