Earlier the rumors were in the air that with the launch of new Pulsar 200 NS, Bajaj Auto will put an end to the old Pulsars including Pulsar 220, but now it has been confirmed from the trusted sources that the company will not halt the manufacturing of the old Pulsar variants and will continue to sell them along with the new versions. The company has also assured that it will launch a new variant of Pulsar every year and this brand will keep on growing for the years to come. Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is expected to hit the market in the coming days and will carry the price tag near about Rs. 1,00,000 which is much higher than the old Pulsar 220.
Bajaj Pulsar 220 is the flagship range of Bajaj which was tagged as the fastest bike in India and has massive followers, and this is the reason that Bajaj Auto does not want to discontinue the amazing sales of Pulsar 220 for the next 2 years at least, but once its sales start declining, the company will take out the model from the market. The company also does not have any near future plans to stop the manufacturing of Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 and their slight updates are to be expected next year. Another variant of Pulsar, Pulsar SS (Super Sports) is assumed to be launched by the end of this year and such launches will continue for the upcoming years with added features and latest technology.
Pulsar 200 NS (Naked Sports) boasts 199.5 cc Single Cylinder SOHC Engine which produces a peak power of 23.4 BHP at 9500 RPM and a peak torque 18.3 Nm at 8000 RPM and is expected to give a mileage of 55-60 kmpl with a top speed of 136 kmph. It has fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and the engine is attached to a six speed gearbox. Bajaj Auto will unveil the new 350cc version of Pulsar next year, till then it is going to rock the market with its new Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS with amazing features and latest technology.
