Offers include zero per cent downpayment, zero per cent interest rate and more!

  • BMW Motorrad is offering two finance schemes on G 310 twins.
  • Both the bikes come with a standard 3-year warranty and 5-year insurance.
  • Also on offer is a cash discount and accessories pack.

BMW Motorrad India has rolled out a couple of exciting offers for the G 310 R and G 310 GS.  Customers can choose from two finance options. The first option lets you finance the bikes with zero downpayment and zero per cent interest rate. Seems to good to be true? Well, you’re right! The catch is that the offer can only be availed for a tenure of 30 months. Also, you need to pay the road tax and cost of the insurance upfront. As a result, the EMI for the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS goes up to Rs 10,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively. On the bright side, you get rid of your loan faster and you don’t end up paying any interest.

If that doesn’t fancy your boat, you could opt for the standard finance scheme with a fixed interest rate of 14 per cent and a tenure of five years. With a downpayment of Rs 50,000, the EMI for the street bike will range between Rs 8,000 to Rs 9,000 while the baby GS will set you back by Rs 10,000 to Rs 11,000. That said, to lighten the burden a bit, BMW Motorrad will offer a Rs 30,000 cash discount on both bikes and Rs 46,000 if you opt for the accessories pack. To be fair, that’s still pretty impressive. Additionally, you also get a 5-year insurance and a 3-year standard warranty as standard on both bikes. If money isn’t an issue and you opt to pay in cash for either of the bikes, you could get the aforementioned discounts struck off your total bill.

In terms of sales, the BMW twins have been doing rather well for themselves. The Bavarian brand managed to sell 2,187 motorcycles last year. Out of the total sales, the company sold 1,640 units of the G 310 R and G 310 GS, which is quite surprising considering that the two bikes are quite pricey at Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, respectively. That said, the premium price tag does get you a robust and premium product. If you’re on a tight budget but still want a 300cc motorcycle, you could opt for the TVS Apache RTR 310, which shares the same underpinnings as the BMW G310 R, or the more powerful KTM 390 Duke, which not only undercuts the BMW twins but also offers more features.
