Mini Cooper as you all know, is one of the most popular and desirable hatchbacks across the globe that has become more of a style statement than just a car. The four-wheeled beauty has delighted everyone ranging from celebrities to VIPs, business corporates to tycoons with its superb body design and terrific performance. On account of this, two designers, Anders Warming and Louis de Fabribeckers decided to make a motorcycle that is completely inspired from the Cooper. Ander is working for Mini and Louis is the head of design in Carrozzeria Touring.
The motorcycle concept got even more renovation when the famous designer Tamas Jakus of Jakusa Design (www.jakusadesign.com) showed his interest and named the concept as the Superleggera Motorcycle Concept. He carefully observed the detailings and the theme was made exactly that of the car. The paint scheme also compliments the overall body design and helps the bike look like a premium masterpiece. The soft caramel leather seats have been used like the ones found in the Mini Cooper. A bold emblem that says “Mini” in capitals is glued on the fuel tank that adds a signature touch. Coming to the mechanicals, the Mini Superleggera gets its power from a traditional BMW Boxer engine that might have been taken from the BMW HP2 motorcycle.
Sadly, the bike won’t be seeing any production numbers until and unless the Bavarian auto maker decides to do so. We, as true blue motorcycling addicts would really love to see this classy exotic machine on roads and hope that it soon starts rolling on the production lines.
