The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been unveiled in India, its price will be revealed on September 1, 2024. The Classic 350 is Royal Enfield’s best-selling bike in India, in the 2024 update, it gets a bunch of new upgrades and colours to choose from.
Royal Enfield Classic 350: New Features
The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been finally updated with modern tech. The bike is now equipped with an LED headlight, taillight & tiger eyes. Dual-channel ABS as standard and a USB charger are also offered as standard. While the Tripper Pod for smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation comes as standard fitting only in the Stealth and Emerald colours.
Royal Enfield Classic 350: New Colours
The Classic 350 gets 7 new attractive colours with interesting names: Emerald, Jodhpur Blue & Madras Red, Medallion Brown, Commandos Sand and Stealth, there’s something for everyone. These colours add to the bike’s retro aesthetic and look “Royal” just like the brand’s name.
What’s Unchanged?
Engine
The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to be powered by the same 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder J-series engine that produces a peak output of 20.21PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Underpinnings
Most of the components of the bike remain unchanged, like the 41mm telescopic fork and 6-step preload-adjustable twin shocks. Its braking department is handled by a 300mm disc at the front and
153mm drum or 270mm disc at the rear. The bike still rolls on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke/alloy wheels and comes with 100-section front and 120-section rear tyres.
BikeDekho Says:
With the new updates for 2024, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 becomes a more compelling buy for someone looking for a retro roadster-style bike with modern components. The modern updates were much needed as the bike was equipped with very basic features like halogen headlights which weren’t that helpful on the highway. To enable smartphone connectivity, one would have to buy the Tripper Navigation pod (sold as an accessory) to use turn-by-turn navigation via the official Royal Enfield app.
The bike rivals the likes of the Honda CB350, Honda H’ness CB350, Hero Mavrick 440, Jawa 350, Jawa 42, Benelli Imperiale 400, and its retro-roadster sibling, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
