Petrol prices in India are already sky-high but still in the degrading environmental conditions, therefore, the Indian automobile industry need to upgrade its emission norms to BS-V. However, to upgrade the norms, magnificent investment of Rs. 80,000 crore is required from the oil marketing companies. The companies only have seven years to bring this change and make the world greener and healthier. To gather a huge amount like this, it is pretty obvious that these companies will increase the price of the fuel.
