The brand has teased an electric motorcycle to be revealed in March 2020
Cleveland Cyclewerks may not have had too much success in India, but big things are afoot in its home nation. That’s because the brand is all set to unveil its first electric motorcycle in a couple of months’ time. It’ll happen on March 20, 2020, in a gala event at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum … in Cleveland, Ohio.

Codenamed Falcon Rising, the bike also represents the company’s first-ever completely American-built motorcycle. CCW says it’s been developing this project for the past ten years and plans to build it right inside its home base in Cleveland itself. The company is also taking pre-orders for this bike—another in a long line of firsts that it’s crossing off for 2020.

For now, all that we know about the motorcycle comes from this teaser image that CCW has put up. We can see a tubular steel frame that’s been welded together somewhat crudely, and that’s about it. The tubes look quite beeefy and the frame itself appears to be roomy, presumably to house what will be quite a large battery pack. Nothing is known in terms of the powertrain yet, so stay tuned for further updates.
Cleveland Cyclewerks entered the Indian market in September 2018 with two products - the Ace and Misfit. Initial pricing was a little on the expensive side and the products were a tad underwhelming as well, which combined with the not-so-well-known name, meant that sales were rather abysmal. The brand finally halted production late last year and its India innings came to an end.
