It is the second electric bike that Ignitron Motocorp has launched under its Cyborg brand
Ignitron Motocorp’s electric two-wheeler brand Cyborg has brought out its second offering, Bob-e. It is a contraption, really, sort of a mix between a monkey bike and a motocrosser meant purely for the road.
The asking price for the Bob-e is Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom), with the booking amount set at Rs 999 only.

We’ve seen quite a few of these electric mini-bikes in the past, like the Oki100 and the Joy Monster e-bike. However, what’s unique to the Bob-e is its claimed performance. Cyborg says its creation maxes out at 85kmph and can go 110km on a single charge. Even its 0-40kmph acceleration time of 3 seconds is pretty impressive.
The 2.88kWh battery is removable and takes 4-5 hours to fully charge via a 15A charging socket. There’s no IP67 rating for the battery, with the company merely claiming on its website that it is “Weather Proof”.
There are four riding modes on offer: Urban, Eco, Drive, and Sports, a reverse assist function, and a parking mode. The operation is keyless.
The Bob-e runs on 12-inch wheels and is suspended on a USD fork and monoshock, anchored by disc brakes at both ends. All said, what could be detrimental to its range and performance is the weight; the Bob-e tips the scales at 150kg, which does seem a lot for a monkey bike.
Alas, this remains a quirky little machine that might not see many takers due to the odd looks and the high asking price. For the same moolah, one could get the Revolt RV400. Or, if you are looking for a made-in-India electric motorcycle, Tork will launch the Kratos on January 26.
