After pulling it off from the Auto Expo, DSK Hyosung has different plans for bringing its machine in the Indian motorcycling industry. The company is planning to bring 4 new motorcycles in the next 18 months. As told by Shirish Kulkarni who is the Indian head of the company to an online portal, GV 300 will be the first of the bunch to be launched in India. This bike will be the all new motorcycle and will get a round headlamp, tear-drop tank along with split seats.

GV300

The GV 300 will have a mass of chrome coating on its body, which makes it similar to the Aquila GV 250. To make it look different, the company will offer the mill with black powder coated engine and alloy wheels. The machine will come equipped with 275cc oil-cooled V-Twin engine that will generate a maximum power of 26.2 bhp and a peak torque of 23.5Nm. There is no confirmation regarding the price of this model, but we expect the GV 300 to be priced around Rs. 3 lac. Also, this bike will have ABS fitted at both the ends and is expected to be on sale from May this year.

GT300R

Coming next in the queue is the GT300R sportbike. First unveiled at the EICMA, this bike is most likely to replace the existing GT250R from the company’s lineup. With some sharp looks, the bike will have an uprated engine similar to GV300 and will produce a maximum power of 27.6 bhp and a peak torque of 23.5Nm. The company will offer ABS as standard in the GT300R and will launch the machine by June this year.

GT650R

The next bikes to be launched by the company will be the GT650R and GD450. Offering a maximum power of 72.6 bhp the GT650R will be more efficient than its earlier version as per claims and the GD450 is most likely to be launched by late 2016 or early 2017.
