Electrifying Launch of 3 Electric Scooters by the Enigma Motors

Enigma Motors have proved to be the fighters amongst all the players on the field of electric vehicle production and sale. Subsidized or not, they continue to produce new and better electric vehicles. Their fortitude is proved by their latest launch of three new electric vehicles. The price in India of these newly launches by the Enigma Motors, available in red ,white , brown and black colors, is Rs. 28,500 to Rs. 31,900 on road. Intense, Muscular, and Creasent are the enticing names of the newly launched scooters, which take 6-8 hours to charge and give a top speed of 25km/h making them a safe ride. With drum brakes all around, telescopic forks at the front and no compulsory registration, these electric scooters are going to be a good choice for the under aged. The crown jewel amongst these three launches by the Enigma Motors is the Creasent  which boasts of giving a range of 55km on full charge and has cruise control, 48 volt lighting system and multiple charger sockets.

Added protection comes from the anti-theft alarm and motor lock system. Enigma Auto chief executive officer, Mr. Arun Kumar Upadhyay reported that the company aims at selling around 20,000 units of these new launches in the very first year. He expects a good sale owing to the rising petrol prices and increasing demands of electric motors. The current plant for these scooters is located in Delhi with a capacity of installing 100 units per day. A new plant of Rs. 30 crore investment is being set up in Bhiwdi, Rajasthan with an installed capacity of 500 units per day.

Enigma Motors intends to increase its dealers by 100, current being 18, by the end of 2013. It sure aims high! Another news creating the buzz is the announcement of launching electric three and four wheelers by the company. We now await to see when they hit the roads, expecting the three wheelers to be around by next year. For now its Intense, Muscular and Creasent!
